Bike Share Program Launched in San Francisco Bay Area
Pedal power!!! Wohoo!!! San Francisco is getting greener and healthier by the minute with the new bike share program launched last Thursday!
What’s a great way to reduce traffic congestion and pollution – bicycling.
What’s a great way to promote a healthier community – bicycling.
Thumbs Up for Bike Share Program
It’s like hitting two birds in one stone, (but of course, let us not literally do that, please!), this bike share program will promote a healthier eco-friendly lifestyle to the people.
Imagine the gas we’re saving, the pollution we’re omitting and the exercise we’re having. It really is a win-win situation! You give back to the community as you opt for a healthier lifestyle.
Bike-sharing promotes positivity
In today’s world, where the environment is getting polluted in record breaking speed and families are struggling to stay afloat with the current state of the economy, changes like bike share program matters.
Exercise really does wonders to our body, and I believe everybody want to exercise but view it as a very tiring and time consuming activity. Oftentimes people just don’t have the right motivation to get into it.
This bike share program will condition their minds into participating in a program that is basically a form of exercise. Bicycling will give you that much needed cardio work out. And of course, be reminded that exercise relieves stress, so we can expect a more upbeat mood and positive attitude once we get everybody into bicycling.
Bike Share Program towards a Greener Community
To begin with, I’m already proud of our community for the way we segregate our trash and we have them all sort out and properly labeled. But this bike share program will take us another step closer in becoming a greener community.
We have clearly eliminated a considerable amount of pollution that our cars would emit into the environment. The more cars we can get off the road, the less air pollution there is!
And since it’s bike-sharing, we also don’t have to pollute our environment with tons of metals and bolts and all. We don’t necessarily need to have 1 million bikes for 1 million people, this sharing program really does wonder to our environment.
And to make it even better, the bike rack installed all over San Francisco is solar-powered!!! Hooray for a greener San Francisco!
A Greener Me
I’m an advocate of green living and I already know that I’m contributing to the environment by working at home. I don’t use gas to commute, I use the same utility our house would normally consume, and I have the freedom to make greener choices in conducting my business and even have the time to create awareness in conserving our planet.
This bike-sharing program is definitely a big step closer to a greener community which I have always dreamed of. It really works both ways; we promote a cleaner environment and healthier lifestyle as well.
